I am Murshed Jahangir.
Born in 1970, I am an interdisciplinary artist. I live and work in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The contents of my work are the result of some kind of reflection of research on psycho analysis. My work has involved in my engagement with space. I play with emotion, visual thoughts, objects, Sounds and sometimes my intention is provoking. Many times, my subconscious mind is reflected in my work. I find joy in doing those practice when I relate my sub consciousness. There is a kind of spiritual satisfaction. And it becomes performative and establishes spiritual relationships. The relationship between subject and the object, eventually transform it into a sculpture. And sometimes transformed into a two- dimensional image. I work through sculpture, installation, drawing, painting, video, sound and digital tools. I have a psychological, spiritual and philosophical attitude towards media and medium.
